Mr. DiLeo is a former President of the St. Margaret’s Catholic Youth Organization and the 1998 President of the Western New York General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA). He is the recipient of the 1985 Manus Christi Award for Outstanding Youth Leadership and a Certificate of Merit presented by the Western New York District of the United States Attorney’s office. He sits on the Advisory Board for Gilda’s Club and Heritage Centers for the Disabled and is the former Chairman of the Advisory Board for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in which he received the 2009 John Walsh Award as well as the 2014 Buffalo 612 Award honoring C Level Executives.
As the General Agent with MassMutual , Mr. DiLeo has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Rebranding the organization to MassMutual New York State in 2016, the organization has consolidated the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Utica firms respectively together to leverage scale and marketplace opportunity. His organization has been ranked by Business First Magazine as the #1 Life Insurance Agency in Western New York in years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019, 2020, 2021
Active in industry and community associations, he is a member of both the national and local Association of Life Underwriters. Joseph has achieved numerous distinctions including President’s Council, Top Club and the Presidents Cup Awarded for agency excellence. Joe has achieved Chairman’s Club and Crystal Achievement twice with MassMutual over the past 10 years and his organization was nominated for Best Places to Work in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 & 2019. He is also a life and qualifying member of the industry’s prestigious Million Dollar Round Table. Joseph and his wife Rosemary have four children, Joseph, Marc, Alexandra and Giuliana.
